Our Bow Holders are the result of two plus years of designs, prototypes, trials and tribulations. The end result is a most simple, effective and handy tool for the bow hunter—a secure way to transport your bow while moving about. In the past, the only ways to transport your bow while in a pick up were to lay it on carpet or something similar in the pick up bed, put it in the back seat of a crew/club cab pick up, or, and my least favorite, prop it up between your knees. Then try to dodge the nocks as they bounced amazingly close to your nose and eyes as the driver found the less traveled portions of the road! Any of these transport methods just beg for a bow to be damaged by bouncing about, unprotected and quite vulnerable to parts breakage. Badger’s Bow Holders are a new and affordable way to keep your bow out of the way, secure and available. Our bow holders are made right here in Salem, Oregon, all stainless steel with forks that are covered with special grip-tight foam that cushions and holds the bow limbs. Once the Bowholders are installed your bow may be carried either string up or string down, depending upon clearance inside the pick up bed, the configuration of bow accessories on your bow and your own preferences. Using a pair of Bowholders really frees up interior cab space and/or pick up bed space. No more tangled up or damaged bows. WELL, WE DID IT!!!! BADGER'S BOW HOLDERS has now added a killer set of ATV Bow Holders to our inventory. We just got sick and tired of those other bow holders that clamped to your ATV rack with a modified "muffler clamp". Seems like they never stayed where you wanted them to and they were always rotating downward due to the road/trail vibration and the weight of the bow. If that wasn't enough, you then had to deal with losing most, if not all, of your usable rack space to store your bow. WELL, now you have options like never before. Due to the gripping power of these ATV Bow Holders, you can mount your bow in just about any configuration you can imagine. For extra protection, mount it flat and low, over your rack. To save rack space, put your bow above the front of the rack. As in our original Bow Holders, you can mount the bow, string up or string down, whichever you prefer. To really get your bow out front and save even more rack space (this turned out to be my favorite), mount the Bow Holders straight out to the front of your rack. Your bow actually rides in front of the ATV which keeps it cleaner and the rack is completely free. Nothing will beat a pair of Badger's ATV Bow Holders. Made from 3/16" steel, with our original foam covered, stainless steel forks to hold your bow securely. Included is self adhesive neoprene to cover your rack tubes with. This really locks on the Bow Holders without scratching your paint. To install, just select an area to clamp the Bow Holders to, attach the self adhesive neoprene to either the inside of the clamp halves or wrap it around the luggage rack tubing, set on the Bow Holder halves then insert a bolt/washer/lock nut in the holes and tighten snugly. It is not necessary to over tighten. YOUR ATV RACK MUST BE AN INCH OR SO WIDER THAN THE LENGTH OF YOUR BOW RISER TO ALLOW ROOM FOR THE BOW HOLDERS!!!!
